Sentiment analysis of Vietnamese reviews on markets from online resources
A project carried out by KapitalAMC in Vietnam to collect market trend from different sources (forums, social network, news) through sentiment analysis toward stocks or bags of stocks. We will be the first company in Vietnam to provide this kind of service to personal investors.

A joint work of Brandeis' Computer Science Phd students and Computational Linguistic Master students to compete in Alexa Prize 2017 . The target of the competition is to create a social bot that can prolong a conversation with people interacting with it.

Semi-manual annotation and automatic description generation of movie snippets
A project that aimed to test the feasibility of using movie resource to learn event representation. In this work, I created an annotated resource with event-subevent structure semi-manually and I was experimenting with a number of different learning algorithms to learn them.

People identity resolution from text snippet into Wikipedia page
A project that we implemented a SOLR search engine to find most similar Wikipedia page to a text snippet about a person (and have same name as the person). The task was submitted to a task that was extended from SemEval Task 2007 (Web people search).

Vietnamese Sign language (VSL) annotation and recognition
A project initiated by Vietnam Ministry of Science and Technology. The target of the project is to test the feasibility of creating an annotated visual corpus of Hanoi dialect of VSL, and the possibility of applying ML method to translate from visual captures of signer to textual sentences.
